Weekly Summary Report

The Weekly Summary Report app automatically sends a weekly email with a summary of your Contact Form 7 activity. The report shows the number of entries and spam submissions, along with a form-by-form breakdown, so you can monitor your forms without logging in to WordPress.

Before using the Weekly Summary Report app, make sure CF7 Apps is installed and activated on your WordPress website.

Notice: The Weekly Summary Report uses global settings only and requires the Entries app to be enabled to track submissions and include entry data in the report.

Configure Weekly Summary Report Settings

To configure the Weekly Summary Report:

• Navigate to Contact → CF7 Apps → Dashboard.
• Locate Weekly Summary Report under General.
• Click the Settings icon.

Configure Email Report Settings

Follow these steps to configure the Weekly Summary Report:

1. Enable Email Summary Report
   Turn on Enable Email Summary Report to activate the weekly summary email.
2. Add Additional Recipients
   Enter comma-separated email addresses in Additional Recipients to send the report to other team members. For example, email1@example.com, email2@example.com.
3. Save Settings
   Click Save Settings to apply your Weekly Summary Report configuration.

The report always sends to the Administration Email Address configured under Settings → General in WordPress.

Use Additional Recipients to send the weekly report to other team members.

Notice: The WordPress administration email address always receives the report, even when you add additional recipients.

View Weekly Summary Report Content

Each weekly email summarizes your Contact Form 7 activity from the previous Monday through Sunday.

Follow these steps to review the report:

• Review Total Entries
  Check Total Entries This Week to see the total number of Contact Form 7 submissions received during the reporting period.
• Review Spam Entries
  Check Total Spam Entries This Week to see the number of submissions blocked by Honeypot spam protection.
• Review Form Entries
  Check Forms / Entries to see each Contact Form 7 form and the number of entries it received.

Notice: The Weekly Summary Report relies on WordPress cron, so low-traffic websites may experience delays in receiving the scheduled email.
