The Entries app saves all Contact Form 7 form submissions directly to your WordPress database. With Entries enabled, every new form submission is stored securely in your database, allowing you to view, search, filter, and export your form data whenever you need it.

Before enabling the Entries app, make sure CF7 Apps is installed and activated on your WordPress website.

Getting Started

To enable Entries:

  • Navigate to Contact → CF7 Apps → Dashboard.
  • Locate the Entries app under General..

  • Click the Settings (Gear) icon.
  • Enable the Entries app.
  • Click Save Changes.

View Entries

To view saved form submissions:

  1. Navigate to Contact → CF7 Apps → Dashboard → Entries.
  2. The Entries page displays all saved submissions.
  3. Use the Form Filter to display submissions from a specific Contact Form 7 form.
  4. Use the Search box to quickly find entries.
  5. Click View on any entry to see the complete submission details.

Entry Details

Each saved entry includes the following information:

  • Submission date and time
  • Contact Form 7 form name
  • Submitted form field values

  • The submission is automatically saved to the WordPress database.
  • Contact Form 7 processes the configured email notification as usual.
  • Administrators can:
    • View complete submission details.
    • Search and filter entries.
  • Entries remain available until they are manually deleted.
